A 6 amp motor delivers powerful torque and speeds of 0-2,500 rpm, while an advanced brush system automatically stops the tool when the brushes wear out, preventing serious motor damage. Chuck is less than secure, trigger makes it difficult to control speed when driving screws, my Dewalt cordless drills worked better, but they died of old age, so I use this, for now. Would not buy it again. looking at Milwaukee this time.
